Sunday in Ashland

Chris has classes on Saturdays and Sundays too, so Leila and I even had the weekend to adventure. Our first Sunday we went back to Lithia to play and then decided to hike some of the many trails around the foothills of the park. Every thing was great until we passed a "Bear Spotted" poster. Because Leila can read, there was no getting around the fact that a bear was spotted in the trails. I kept telling we were fine (there were so many people out and about) and the spotting was way back in May, but she was DONE.

So we headed back to the car. Leila wanted to stop for some water. Little did she know it was the famous Lithia Water in that fountain...

...she figured it out pretty quickly though! Gross! "Mom, it tasted furry!" Yes. Yes it does! I remember when I tried it for the first (and only) time! This grate it probably next to the fountain for a reason and has most likely had many a person spit water on water.

We spent the afternoon at the Splash Park again.

Waiting for Daddy outside the theatre building. We got to eat dinner with him each night before dropping him off for his evening sessions.
