Science Fun!

Wednesday brought fun at the science museum; Science Works Hands-On Museum. On our way inside, Leila and I fell in love with the yard art; bugs and animals cut out of plywood, painted and then covered with bottle caps. Right then we started collecting bottle caps. We are excited to make this butterfly as soon as we have enough bottle caps in different colors!

We spent a looong time in the Bubble Room!

We spent an even longer time in the Engineering Room making tracks for the marbles. We created three different tracks. Each new track was more complex and better engineered than its predecessor. I truly think the two of could have spent a few more hours building, but we needed to pick Chris up for dinner.

While we were blowing giant bubbles and building marble tracks, Chris was making pillows and constructing flats.

We ate dinner at Martini's, which Leila calls Montoro's. She is convinced that she says its name correctly. Montoro's is her ABSOLUTE FAVORITE restaurant in Ashland. We ate outside in the shadow of the Bowmer Theatre listening to the Green Show. What a special atmosphere for dinner!

Chris got to enjoy the hammock that evening too!
