Browns Point

If you follow this blog, you will already know that Browns Point (yes, there is no apostrophe on purpose) is one of the Tavern Family's favorite places to be. With all our preparations to leave for southern Oregon for a month this summer we also included a visit to Browns Point...to hold us over while we were away. It was probably the coldest summer visit we have had, but we had the point to ourselves so you couldn't beat that!

This girl would climb on the rocks all day! It is so amazing to me to think back to a year ago when she was super hesitant about climbing over even the smallest of rocks. Now she hears us shout "Slow down!" or "You're getting a bit too far away from us!" She loves looking for treasures resting between the rocks that the Sound has carried in.

Here they are on the point...the wood structure in the top left corner of the photo is the base of the old lighthouse.
