Pele

Leila's favorite goddess is Pele. She learned about her while waiting for Disneyland's Tiki Room to begin and became quite fascinated with her. Gramma and Papa went to Hawaii in May with strict instructions from Leila to bring back something about Pele. They were able to find a book about her. Leila drew the cover art! 

Wiped Out

I picked Leila up from daycare one evening and started heading to dance practice. We were about halfway there and the backseat got awfully quiet. 

Team Cypher Run

 We spent Mother's Day at the Team Cypher 5K Walk/Run. We wanted to show our support for our dear friend, Sarah, and her family. SO MANY folks came out for the walk/run. It was a testament to Sarah's character that so many of her friends wanted to show her love. Thankfully, the event raised a good deal of funds for the family!!
