October Cookies

 The day of Leila's photo shoot in the park was a nasty, rainy day. Luckily, the weather held until the photo session was finished, but BARELY. We ran to the car, hit the grocery store and headed home to get warm and bake cookies. We had the day off from school and thought baking cookies would be the perfect way to spend our free day. I don't know what it is, but when we get a weekday at home it feels extra special. 

 We watched Little House on the Prairie while we waited for the cookies to finish baking. Even Rudy got in on the cuddles. These are the kind of fall days I absolutely treasure!
