Superhero Day

Because the school's fundraising efforts went so well, they met the challenge that the principal offered. If the kids earned a certain amount as a school, the students could have a Superhero Day. So, the Friday before Halloween the students and staff dressed as superheroes. Leila chose her Supergirl nightgown with some red leggings underneath. Her prairie boots looked pretty great for superhero boots. Our district doesn't allow Halloween costumes to be worn to school, so this was the perfect outlet for the kids to dress-up and channel some of the Halloween excitement!
