This year Leila is playing U-8 soccer and with level comes goalkeepers! What a big adjustment for the girls! As coaches, Chris and I decided each of our girls would play goalie twice in our season. I was so worried about Leila! She isn't the most aggressive player but she rose to the occasion and even decided that she loved playing keeper! Whew! Thank goodness for two important ladies who have had a big impact on her life; Coach Sarah and her first grade teacher. I mentioned how both of these ladies played goalie and that is all it took for Leila's confidence to grow!
After the game, Leila's good friend had a soccer game on the same field.
