The Blasters had our first game the first weekend of September. We have the sweetest girls on our team! Six of the girls were on the team last year and the other three joined us this fall. With U-8 soccer we now play with a goalie, which is quite the change for the girls who are used to shooting away on an empty net. In addition to the offensive change, it takes a lot of courage to stand in the box and face the opposing shots! Our first game was in pretty hot weather, but the girls did great! We are looking forward to a great season!
