Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is directly south of Yellowstone and the drive is pretty short. We passed through John D. Rockafeller Parkway. We stopped at the ranger station and picked up Weedie's junior ranger activity booklet so she could work on a couple of the pages as we drove through the park. We ate lunch at Jackson Lodge near the lake and Leila attended a Ranger Talk about bear safety. As we continued driving south through the park, the views just kept getting more and more amazing!!

We made it to our log cabin hotel room and unpacked for our stay in Jackson, WY. I think we all fell in love with Jackson pretty darn quickly! Because I've trained Leila well, she is a giant Little House fan! She was pretty excited when she saw our hotel room!
We had a low key evening: dinner and getting caught up on our summer adventure journals. We were planning on waking up early the next morning and heading back into Grand Teton National Park, so we were glad to call it a day and crawl into bed.
