Dance Recital 2013

 Leila completed her second year of dance classes this June! She took another combo class consisting of ballet, tap and jazz. Her favorite of the three is ballet followed closely by tap. She especially likes the ballet stretches and the position song. Her class performed two numbers this year, one ballet and one tap. They danced to "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" for the tap number. I can't describe the feeling that comes over me while I watched her dance. She is so bright on stage! Her smile is so joyful! This year, Chris and I were very proud of the growth she made, not only from week to week but most especially the growth in her confidence at recital time. She wasn't one bit worried about going on stage at The Pantages Theatre! Mom and Dad are proud of you, Weedie!!
