We really enjoy the comic book store where we live, but the comic store here in Ashland seems to have a lot bigger selection for folks Leila's age. On one of Chris's lunch breaks, after we had eaten, we checked out the selection. Of course, Leila and Christopher found lots of comics! They came home with an Aw Yeah Comics book, 4 Power Puffs and a Mickey Mouse comic.
Chris still had time before he had to be back so we walked to a store nearby where we had seen a Gryffindor necktie in the window, which Leila needed for her upcoming Halloween costume. When we got there, her and Christopher discovered that they had the whole Harry Potter costume. She is going as Hermione (is our child the only one that has her costumes selected months in advance?!?!?), but the only piece she wouldn't use from the kit are Harry's glasses. So, Leila has most of her costume!
She is going to be such a cute witch!!
