The Adventure Begins

 Our first full day in Ashland we walked to the university and scoped things out so Christopher would know where his classes would be. We swung through the bookstore too and we each got an SOU shirt. We are a Raiders family now! 

The temp was upper 90s so we put out suits on and ended up at Lithia Park (best park ever!) playing in the creek. This isn't a new park to us (we have played here in previous summers on our way to Cali), but our visits have always been too short. Up until this summer! Lithia Park was a staple in our summer plans! 

After playing in the lower creek, we discovered that there is swim reservoir up in the hills which feeds the creek. That water was SO COLD as it was right from Mt. Ashland!
