Shasta Visit

 On July 23rd, Leila and I packed up the car and drove south to visit Auntie Amanda's parents, Dick and Barbara, in Mt. Shasta. I was a bit nervous about driving the Siskiyous by myself, but I DID IT! And it wasn't even that bad. We had a wonderful visit and stayed for a good piece of the day. We chatted, picked berries from their garden, walked around downtown, had some yummy ice cream, ran through the sprinkler and enjoyed a great dinner together. Thank you to Barbara and Dick for a wonderful day! 

 Leila thought it was pretty darn cool that Barbara let her eat from the pot!
