Disneyland Vacation ~ Day 5

Our fifth morning (fourth park morning) was spent in the Disneyland. Leila REALLY wanted to meet the fairies this visit. In all our visits we had yet to visit Pixie Hollow while the fairies were meeting and greeting. We happened to pass the line just as it was opening and were some of the first folks through...which was great as we didn't lose much time waiting in line.

Later in the morning we toured Minnie and Mickey's houses and met the mice. 

While waiting for Merida, the attendant pulled the kids out of line and taught them the Small World Hula Dance...well his crazy version at least. He said eyes needed to be closed. 

Chris spotted Tiana from across the water in New Orleans square. He ran ahead to hold a place in her line. What luck!! 

Then later in the day, I jumped out of line for the Matterhorn to get a snack for the crew and there was Peter Pan. I quickly grabbed Leila and was able to get a picture. Again, what luck! Leila hadn't seen Pan before.

We took a little break in New Orleans Square and had these lovely steps to ourselves...in the shade. 

Wow!! Another first for Leila...THE MATTERHORN!!! She loved it! I was nervous, but her and Chris kept reassuring me that she could handle it. She could and did...with a grin. 

End of the night...after watching Fantasmic. She was wiped out!
