Disneyland Vacation ~ Day 2 continued
We woke up bright and early Monday morning, ate cereal in our hotel room and headed into California Adventure for the Extra Hour Magic Morning...this is when hotel guests can get in an hour before the public can enter the parks. Since we were hotel guests, we got an extra hour EVERY morning. We were thinking it was limited to one morning, but not the case. Our first order of business was to get a fact pass for Radiator Racers. That ride is so much fun!! I truly think I could ride it over and over and over!! After we had fast passes, we met some Cars friends. (above: Red the Fire Engine)
McQueen!! Ca-chow!!
Mater too!
We went on Luigi's Flying Tires ride for the first time ever. Not amazing but fun nonetheless and we walked right on the ride with NO line, so eh.
Frozone from the Incredibles
We have a special place in our family for Monters Inc monsters. During Leila's first trip to Disneyland as an 11 month old we were stopped constantly to be told that she looked just like Boo from the movie. And she truly did! It is one of our favorites!
Yo ho, maties!
Another Disneyland first for Leila...Soarin' Over California. This is another ride that I LOVE! We kept telling L how much she would like it. I don't think she believed us until we took off, but oh man, she certainly believes it now!
Waiting for the swings to start. This is a Mommy ~ Daughter ride every visit...Chris can't do it.
In flight on the swings.
We really didn't intend to spend our entire first day in CA Adventure, but there was so much to do that it ended up that way. We had a great viewing spot for World of Color thanks to our fast passes that we got in the Extra Hour Morning. Yay!
We were back in the hotel that night about 10:15 and spent a little while watching Mickey cartoons in the lobby in kid sized chairs. Lovely way to end the evening!
