All About Brachiosaurus

 Leila's school invites all students, kinder through 6th grade, to participate in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) showcase. As long as your project relates to one of those fields, you are welcome to enter. Leila loves dinosaurs and there was no hesitation when I asked her what type of project she was thinking about entering....a DINO report! She chose her favorite dino, the brachiosaurus. Over the course of 3 weeks, we visited the library for some resources, took notes of interesting facts and Leila began writing her pieces for the display board. On March 11th, we we were invited to the school to view the kids' projects. Leila won a top award for kindergarten STEM projects! She had to share about her project and answer impromptu questions about the brachiosaurus. We couldn't be any prouder of this girl!
