PDX Train

 

 The morning after Christmas we hopped on Amtrak and headed to Portland to have Christmas with my family! It was quite a fun adventure. Leila hadn't been on a train before, well except the ones at Disneyland, so she was pretty excited. 

 The train was full and they didn't have any seats for us, even though we had reserved tickets. They reserved a table for us instead and we loved it! I think the train employees were worried that we were upset about our seating, but we actually enjoyed having a table to spread our things on and when we ate our snacks, it was a lot easier for all. 

Mom picked us up in Portland and we drove over the river to see Jon and Amanda at the hospital because early that morning Bennett was welcomed into the world! More about Baby B in my next post.
