The Avetts

We got to see the Avett Brothers in concert! We often call them just the Avetts, thanks to Leila. Along with Carbon Leaf, the Avetts are our family's favorite band. Leila knows a lot of their songs and on car trips she asks to listen to their albums. She even has them on her tiny iPod shuffle that she inherited from Gramma. Leila doesn't know that Chris and I went to their show without her and to make matters worse if she ever finds out, Grammy and Granddad came too. SHHH!! The concert was at the amphitheater right next to the Clark County Fairgrounds and started late, so we chose not to bring her. It was an outstanding concert!!! All four of us had a great time! 

We stayed the night at Mom and Jim's in Portland that night and had to help with dog duty the next morning because Mom had my brother's dogs for the weekend.
