Tuesday morning, December 18th, we woke up to snow! It had started that night but we weren't sure just how much would accumulate. We had a two-hour late start for school that morning! My how things have changed over the last 5 years when it comes to late start school days!! In years past, Chris and I looked at it as an extra hour or so of sleep. Those days have come and gone with Leila in the house. We have to get up at our regular time and play outside now in the early morning hours! I don't mind it though as it would be terrible to promise snow fun after school and then watch it disappear throughout the day. I wouldn't want to see that happen and miss the chance to play, so we go outside early.

The best part was that it was still snowy that afternoon when we got home from school!
