Father's Day

Puyallup has a fabulous street fair that runs Father's Day weekend every year. It seems like we have enjoyed walking around the fair the last three years and this year was no exception. Mike and Shawn met us downtown. Luckily, the rain held and we were able to see most of the booths and crafts. For lunch we walked to Trackside Pizza, which sits right next to the train tracks. Great spot for kiddos! It is fascinating to see the trains whoosh by at top speeds!! Kids can create their own pizza pie masterpieces. Leila gave it a try for the first time.
 Leila and the BEST Daddy!!

Leila had to walk the pizza to the counter and yell, "Pie up!"
After the street fair, we went to Mike and Shawn's house and the guys opened gifts. Chris got a banjo from the entire family. He is already playing LOTS of songs on it. Leila and I are gonna be hearing the banjo all summer...but we like it and all thankful it wasn't a drum set.
