We took advantage of our zoo membership over spring break and spent a day with the animals of Point Defiance. This is the perfect zoo to "do" in half a day. Miraculously, we picked the ONE day it didn't rain during spring vacation (well, not counting Easter Sunday). We got there early and saw all the animals playing and eating.
We ran into Sadie near the tiger enclosure. A nice surprise!
We watched the new baby clouded leopards have their breakfast.
We saw the zookeepers weigh and feed the Arctic foxes. So fun! The foxes know some sign language and we got to see how smart they are while they were being weighed.
Our trip ended, like is ALWAYS does, on the carousel. Then we ran into our second friend, Ian, on accident, but didn't get a picture. The three of us enjoyed our day together!
