I am attempting to finish all of the California trip posting this afternoon! We leave for Ventura this weekend, so I would like to finish with the first set of Cali pics before having a whole new set to work with!
Aunt Chris has named the little beach at the entrance to her neighborhood as "Leila's Beach".
After a day in the sun at the beach and showers, we walked to the park to enjoy the swings.
Chasing Daddy around the park.....and burning off more energy before bedtime.
The next morning, we ventured to the Aquarium of the Pacific (Long Beach). Leila was quite tickled that the sharks would swim so close to her!
That evening we had dinner at the family's house and hit the pool too.
I think we have a swimmer...she LOVED jumping off the side.
After dinner, Leila played some "hoopball" with her cousin Dustin.
The following day, we drove south to San Diego and spent the day at the Zoo. What an amazing zoo! We visited it last year, but Leila really got a kick out of seeing the animals this year. Her favorite animal - the giraffes. Her most memorable experience - "I see daddy 'raff poop." Yep, the giraffe pooped and it became the highlight of her trip. She will still tell you about it!
